EVM


Earned Value Management (EVM) is an essential element of BCF Program Management activities, and is a BCF core competency.
Activities in the portfolio of BCF and its knowledgeable BCF employees include:

• Performing EVM within the Acquisition Program Offices of the Department of Defense, the Defense Contract Management Agency, and Federal Agencies, such as the Department of Homeland Security, the Department of Transportation, and the Department of Commerce.
• Developing Contractor EVM systems and tools, and participating or leading EVM System Reviews, System Implementation and Validation Reviews, Surveillance Reviews, and Integrated Baseline Reviews.
• Supporting the development and operation of Government in-house EVM Systems to generate earned value data in support of the Office of Management and Budget’s (OMB’s) Performance Based Budget requirements.
• Developing, documenting, maintaining, and implementing EVM processes, procedures and standard practices, EVM Guides, and workbooks.
• Developing and maintaining training materials to support EVM system reviews, work breakdown structure development and maintenance, schedule development and maintenance, and EVM analysis and related automated tool use (e.g. wInsight Suite).

BCF can support customers with the developing EVM contract requirements, work breakdown structures, EVM data analysis (including budget and schedule comparative analysis) and reports, contractor system and/or baseline reviews, EVM tool training and helpdesk support.
