BCF Listed in Washingtonian's "Best Places to Work"
WASHINGTON, DC (October 20, 2011) - BCF Solutions, Inc. was listed as one of twelve honorable mentions in the 2011 "Best Places to Work" featured once every two years. BCF received the same honor in 2009. The article stated, "Employees at this midsize government and commercial contractor praise the caring managers. When a project required working late for a week and a half, a manager brought dinner nightly. When a coworker's house was damaged in a storm, a manager spearheaded a collection and got the company to match funds." Thank you to the almost 50 employees who responded to the survey and whose responses landed us in the article.

Triad Division Wins Framework Contract at Argonne Labs
CHICAGO, IL (April 18, 2011) - Division Director Spencer Curtis announced BCF was selected as a Framework contractor to provide project controls for up to 5 years at Argonne National Laboratory in Chicago. Triad Division is now part of three Framework contracts. In addition to the work at Argonne, we also provide support at Brookhaven National Lab and for the ITER project in France. "We still have to win the Task Orders, but we've typically been good at finding a way to win our fair share of those," says Mr. Curtis. This effort will immediately require positions to be filled within the division, all representing new work.

BCF Wins Facility Management Task Order
HUNTSVILLE, AL (March 11, 2011) - CEO Brady Foster announced today that notification arrived yesterday evening of CSC's win, where BCF is a critical subcontractor, for the Missile Defense Agency's Directorate of Logistics Task Order for Facility Management and Lifecycle Logistics. Per our agreement with CSC, the BCF share of this effort will be worth approximately $6.4 million annually. The Task Order is for a one year base period with an option for an additional year (the ID/IQ contract is a five year vehicle). This award is the culmination of hard work by Mr. Foster and Defense & Space Division Director Adam Mungo, supporting this functional organization for many years and steadily growing the BCF presence from just a few personnel to a group of almost 50 people. Mr. Mungo and his team worked very hard to make this particular TO a winner for CSC. Congratulations to the entire D&S Team!

BCF Joins in ID/IQ Win, Again
WASHINGTON, DC (March 10, 2011) The Department of Defense announced the Missile Defense Agency is awarding indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contracts for advisory and assistance services to five different small businesses including DCS Corp in Alexandria, VA for the MiDAESS Group 3 Small Business Set Aside. BCF will perform as a critical subcontractor to DCS on future competitve, individual Task Orders. Our support will assist DCS in providing engineering, technical analysis and support, scientific, systems engineering, test planning, and test execution activities in support of the Ballistic Missile Defense System. Each contract has a not to exceed ordering ceiling of $861,100,000 with a maximum performance period through March 2016. The work locations are Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; and Arlington, VA.

BCF Wins Project Framework contract with Brookhaven National Lab
RIDGE, NY (January 28, 2011) - Triad Division Director Spencer Curtis announced today BCF was awarded a Lab-wide Project Controls Framework contract at the Department of Energy's Brookhaven National Laboratory for project control services. The purpose of this is to provide a quick turnaround for project controls support for projects varying from weeks to months. BCF teamed with a small business contractor - Prime Project Management - to win this 1 year plus 3 option years Framework contract. Brookhaven has been a BCF customer and we look forward to expanding our support there.

BCF Continues Growth as Sub to CSC
ARLINGTON, VA (January 24, 2011) - BCF continues its success in 2011 with new positions won as a subcontractor to CSC on new Missile Defense Agency MiDAESS contracts. Defense & Space Division Director Adam Mungo announced this morning he recieved the news from CSC over what proved to be an exciting weekend. BCF contributed to the efforts on the Integration Synchronization Center Task Order. BCF will see employees placed in not only the Washington, DC area but also in Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; Los Angeles, CA; and Ft. Greely, AK.

BCF Brings Over 100 Jobs to Northern Alabama
HUNTSVILLE, AL (December 18, 2010) - With the success of three Task Orders in as many weeks, BCF Solutions, Inc. Defense & Space Division drastically expands its footprint in the Huntsville, AL region. This was a bright spot in an area that had seen hundreds of NASA positions eliminated in the last few months. Our office location at 2404 Commerce Court in Huntsville will serve as the regional headquarters for almost 200 positions that will primarily support the Missile Defense Agency. BCF Wins Largest Award Ever with MiDAESS Acquisition and Program Management Support Task Order
HUNTSVILLE, AL (December 10, 2010) - BCF Solutions, Inc. Defense & Space Division announced it was awarded the Acquisition and Program Management Support Task Order from the Missile Defense Agency’s Directorate of Acquisition. The task order, worth approximately $14.5 million per year, calls for BCF to provide acquisition and program management support for BMDS leadership. BCF will provide analysis and assessments of data, policy, directives, guidance, instructions; as well as, acquisition and program management advice and recommendations, based on applicable industry practices and aforementioned analysis. This effort will also support preparation of related acquisition and program management documentation in the performance of this task. BCF will support the Director for Acquisition in its mission to advise the Director, Missile Defense Agency on all issues relating to acquisition, contracting, and small business.
Under this task order, BCF and its team members: AASI, CSC, DMD, Gray Research and SAIC will support efforts for the Acquisition Directorate across all MDA Elements in the National Capitol Region; Huntsville, AL; Dahlgren, VA; Bedford, MA; and Albuquerque, NM.
The task order has a one-year base and one option year, and represents new work for BCF. Congratulations to Director Adam Mungo, BCF MiDAESS Program Manager Bill Smart, and the entire Division for their hard work.

BCF EVM Division Wins MiDAESS Task Order
HUNTSVILLE, AL (December 2, 2010) - BCF Solutions, Inc. EVM Division secured the Earned Value Management Task Order from the Missile Defense Agency’s Directorate of Budget. The task order, worth over $2 million per year, calls for BCF to support functional and program leadership, including the following: reviewing processes; implementing EVM policy across the Agency; updating directives, handbooks, and/or memorandums, and providing earned value management support.
Under this task order, BCF and its team member, CSC , will provide MDA oversight for the earned value process in the National Capitol Region; Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; and Albuquerque, NM.
The task order has a one-year base and one option year, and represents new work for BCF. Congratulations to Director Bob Wasser, MDA EVM Lead Peter Upton, and the entire Division for their hard work.

MiDAESS Cost Estimating and Analysis Task Order Win
HUNTSVILLE, AL (December 1, 2010) - BCF Solutions, Inc Defense & Space Division announced this morning it has been awarded the Missile Defense Agency Directorate of Budget (MDA/DOB) Cost Estimating and Analysis Task Order. The contract which has a base year period and a one year option is valued at over $7.1 million per year with 45 positions in Huntsville, AL; Dahlgren, VA; Albuquerque, NM; and Los Angeles Air Force Base, CA.
BCF will provide cost-based decision analyses for MDA’s strategic goals. We will support the collection and management of cost data, technical baseline data, cost research and analysis, and coordination (both internal and external to the agency) in this process. Our cost estimating and analysis will also provide assistance in building quality budget submissions.
BCF partnered with CSC and MCR on this effort and their assistance was invaluable to the success of this award.
This is one of the largest wins in company history and is the result of a dedicated effort by everyone from Executive Management through the entire Division. Congratulations to Division Director Adam Mungo, Program Manager Bill Smart, and their team.

BCF Wins First MiDAESS Task Order
ARLINGTON, VA (Novemeber 19, 2010) - The Harlan Lee & Associates Team, of which BCF is a key member, was awarded the MiDAESS Group 5 Small Business Set Aside Chief of Staff (DS) Executive Services Task Order. BCF Food Drive for AFAC Begins
ARLINGTON, VA (September 15, 2010) - BCF is sponsoring a food drive in partnership with the Arlington Food Assistance Center. AFAC collects and collects and distributes food to over 1000 families a week in the local area. The company goal is 500lbs. Donations can be made atthe D&S Division office in Arlington. BCF Wins $601.8 Million MiDAESS Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Contract Award
ARLINGTON, VA (July 21, 2010) - BCF is being awarded the ID/IQ contract to provide advisory and assistance services to the Acquisition Functional Capability Group Small Business. BCF will assist with acquisition support services for the Ballistic Missile Defense System through July 2015. This procurement is managed by the Missile Defense Agency Engineering and Support Services Program Office.
