Earned Value Mangement Specialist
LOCATIONS: Huntsville, AL
PURPOSE:
BCF Solutions, Inc. EVM Division is hiring a Earned Value Mangement Specialists (intermediate and Advanced) to support the Marshall Integrated Program Support Services for NASA. The candidate will be rquired to work within a team of Project Management professionals providing EVM expertise.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Requires a working knowledge of the Earned Value Management (EVM) Industry Standard, ANSI/EIA 748-A.
Prior experience implementing EVM systems including system description, implementation procedures, Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBR), system validation and training is desired.
Develop pricing models, analysis of historical cost data, research cost alternatives.
Review & analyze historical & current cost data.
Ensure that supporting rationale for cost estimates are complete and accurate.
Development of Life Cycle Cost Estimates for large complex programs.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
BS in Engineering or Business preferred; MBA highly desired. Ideal candidate will possess 5 years EVM experience (at least 7 for Advanced) in the Aerospace or Defense industry.
PREREQUISITES:
Must be eligible for a NASA clearance.
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
Hands-on experience with EVM software like wInsight, Cobra, or Micro Frame Project Manager (MPM) required.
Candidate must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills.
Must be a self starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possesses excellent communication skills, works well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functions within the Program Office, being able to manage customer and contractor relationships.
Candidates must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks.
