Budget Analyst
LOCATIONS: Huntsville, AL
PURPOSE:
BCF Solutions, Inc. EVM Division is hiring a Budget Analyst to support the Marshall Integrated Program Support Services for NASA. The Analyst will support budgeting and financial functions in a variety of context for the Government customer.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Areas of responsibility include budget development and evaluation, budget process maintenance, budget reconciliation and financial analysis.
Must be able to generate monthly financial reports of plan versus actual cost, and prepare variance explanations for senior management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelors degree in related field or a minimum of 10 years experience in cost analysis, budgeting or forecasting
PREREQUISITES:
Must be eligible for a NASA clearance.
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES:
Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel, MS Project, and PowerPoint.
Candidate must possess exceptionally strong analytical skills.
Must be a self starter, detail oriented, able to support multiple projects, possesses excellent communication skills, works well with a team, interacts with multiple levels and functions within the Program Office, being able to manage customer and contractor relationships.
Candidates must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple simultaneous tasks.
